Transforming natural materials into a form that is both useful and aesthetically pleasing has always been enjoyable to me. Wood, grape vine, reed, rafia, and other natural materials all bring their individual life and beauty to the process. By weaving them together into bowl shaped vessels, I continue a tradition that has been shared by virtually every civilization in human history.
